My choice is Tecumseh because he was a Shawnee chief, leader of first nations confederacy and a military leader in the war of 1812 he was born in 1768 on the Scioto river at Chillicothe or Kispoko.
His name means shooting star and to be associated with the celestial panther the spiritual patron of the Kispoko clan.

Tecumseh's Childhood
At Tecumseh's childhood his father Pukeshinwau got killed at 1774 at point pleasant and also much before Tecumseh was born the Iroquois claimed to have conquered the Ohio country and sold it to Americans and the American military were constantly there.
In 1777 the Shawnee split up. Tecumseh moved to Pekowi on the mad river. From Tecumseh's childhood he regarded Americans as "Long Knives" as his enemies. Tecumseh's clan lacked reputation but they made up for it by being the best at fighting second to none.
Tecumseh had a brother called Cheeseekau and he taught Tecumseh how to hunt, be a good woods man and to be a great warrior.

Prophets town or Tippecanoe
Tecumseh had a brother named Tenskwatawa and began having visions about religion in the 1800's and was called a prophet. Tecumseh and his brother Tenskwatawa made a settlement called Prophet's Town or Tippecanoe, when aboriginal people from other tribes came Tecumseh and his brother would tell them not to drink any alcohol, not to trade anything with the Americans, and to work on their farming skills so they can become farmers instead of being hunters.
So they would encourage a lot of people to do the things they wouldn't do.

Tecumseh meets William Henry Harrison
The day Tecumseh met William Henry Harrison the future president of United States was 1810 when Tecumseh was brought to William for a conference at what was called Council of Vincennes. Tecumseh demanded his tribes land back and what seemed like a respected meeting of leaders almost became violent and threatening.

The Battle of Tippecanoe and War of 1812
Offended by Aboriginal tribes that sold land to Americans. Tecumseh made a band of people that won't sell land unless all of the people agreed. In 1811 Tecumseh went to the south to get people to join his confederacy while he was absent William Henry Harrison commanded an attack against Prophet Town and the Shawnee village and it was all destroyed sadly the Shawnee lost against the battle. The battle was called Harrison and the battle of Tippecanoe.
The war of 1812 broke out between the United States and Britain.Tecumseh took his followers and joined the British and fought. He was appointed an officer, and participated in several battles and the capture of Detroit. Tecumseh saved some American prisoners at Detroit he was respected by the American opponent because he didn't believe in torturing prisoners but he always kept his word.

When the British retreated into Canada in 1813 Tecumseh and his men covered the retreat the aboriginals were attacked by American troops, and Tecumseh was killed at Canada on October 5, 1813.He was a great man and we will eternally be in awe of him and his great deeds.

Tecumseh's Curse
When William Henry Harrison came in to contact with Tecumseh was elected president of United States caught a severe cold while delivering the longest inauguration address and died about a mont later. People believed Tecumseh had cursed Harrison.
They believed every American president elected with a o in their name dies like John F. Kennedy.
